Nominations are being sought for the 23rd course of the Nippon Foundation / GEBCO Training Program leading to a Graduate Certificate in Ocean Mapping at the Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping, University of New Hampshire, USA.
The 23rd course will begin in late August 2026 (pending funding to be confirmed in April by the Nippon Foundation).
The application process is open and closes on 19 April 2026.

Since it began, the course has attracted scholars from around the world — creating and strengthening GEBCO's links and gathering local expertise from all regions of the world. The course graduates continue to make a valuable contribution to GEBCO's work.
