New appointment to the GEBCO Guiding Committee

The GEBCO community is pleased to welcome Mr David Millar, Fugro's Government Accounts Director, Americas, to the IHO-IOC GEBCO Guiding Committee.

David Millar, Fugro Government Accounts Director, Americas

 

David has more than 30 years of experience in hydrographic survey and ocean mapping. He has led Fugro’s involvement in the Nippon Foundation-GEBCO Seabed 2030 Project, for example, through its contribution of high-resolution crowd sourced bathymetry datasets collected while its survey vessels transit between projects. He has also served as a member of Seabed 2030's Establishment Team.
 

About the GEBCO Guiding Committee

This committee oversees the work of GEBCO's sub-committees and working groups. It consists of five appointees from each of GEBCO's parent organisations, the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) and the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO.
