The GEBCO_2023 global bathymetric grid

A new release of the GEBCO world map is now available.

The map shows global bathymetry for the world's oceans based on the 2022 release of the GEBCO grid. It is available to download as an Adobe PDF file.

The map has been released in the year that marks the 120th anniversary of the initiation of the GEBCO chart series.

GEBCO's aim is to provide the most authoritative publicly-available bathymetry of the world's oceans. It operates under the joint auspices of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) and the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) (of UNESCO).
